Big Brother, Big Problems

Urgent requests to move the questionable show to a more appropriate time slot

Whether or not you are a fan of reality TV, one thing is for sure, you can't escape them, even on Croatian TV channels.

After The Voice, X Factor and a million cooking shows, Big Brother is back on our small screens. However, it looks like the producers were not counting on the amount of, well, we can say it, x-rated footage when they decided to place the questionable show in prime time.

Even though it's been on air less than a week, Croatian Committee for Electronic Media has been swamped with complaints from viewers because of inappropriate content. RTL Croatia has been asked to answer those complaints as soon as possible and to adjust the air time to a much alter time slot to protect younger viewers.

In case they fail to comply, RTL is even facing a temporary or even permanent loss of concession.

This inappropriate content prompted a reaction from the Croatian ombdusman for children Ivana Milas Klarić and she is asking for the show to be moved to 22 h and for all re-runs to be removed from daily time slots or even later in order to protect the children.
