Rimac C_Two Sold Out in Just Three Weeks

By 29 March 2018

Almost all 150 planned units worth 1.7 million euro each have been sold.

Just three weeks after it was presented to the world, Mate Rimac has sold almost all 150 planned units of the C_Two electric car, reports Index.hr on March 29, 2018.

C_Two is an electric hyper-sport car and was one of major stars of the Geneva car show, and its basic price is 1.7 million euros. It is an heir to Concept One and, according to many, the most powerful sports car in the world.

Krešo Ćorić, the sales manager at Rimac Automobili, said there were just several more available cars left to buy. He is currently attending the New York motor show. Since the American buyers have already had the opportunity to get to know the Concept One model, it is expected that these few remaining purchase slots would be filled by the end of the show.

And that is not all. According to Autocar, an average buyer of this electric hyper-car, which has a basic price of 1.7 million euro, also purchases bonus options worth about half a million euro.

The C_Two is a follow-up to the Concept One, which achieves 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds. That was the car which ex-Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond crashed in an infamous incident.

The C_Two will go into production in 2020.

In addition to its own cars, Rimac Automobili produces electrical parts for many other car manufacturers.
