International Seminar for Life to Be Held in Medjugorje

Late May brings us a new international seminar in Medjugorje.

The next international seminar to be held in Medjugorje is the 5th International Seminar for Life, to be held from 24 to 27 May, reports medjugorje-info.com on May 8, 2017.

The slogan of the seminar is “For your love to grow ever more”. The seminar will bring together doctors and medical staff, life defenders, as well as those who have lost a child, people hurt by intentional and spontaneous abortions, spouses who want children, pro-life activists, victims of domestic violence, single parents and pregnant women.

The lecturer at the seminar will be Fr. Ante Vučković. He was born in 1958 in Sinj. He is a member of the Franciscan Province of the Holy Redeemer with the seat in Split. He graduated from the seminary and classical grammar school in Sinj, and studied theology in Makarska and Zagreb. He was ordained in 1983. After serving as a chaplain in Metković and Munich, he studied philosophy in Munich and Rome, where he also received a Ph.D. degree. He taught philosophy in Rome, at the Pontifical University Antonianum, and at the Franciscan Theology in Makarska. He is a professor of Philosophy at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Split and teaches at the Philosophical Department of the same university. He is the leader of spiritual exercises, seminars and spiritual rejuvenation programmes and has published several books and papers in professional and popular journals.
