Croatian Innovators Win 4 Gold Medals in Brussels

All 8 Croatian projects presented at the INNOVA 2015 expo recieved awards

As reported by HINA on November 21, 2015, all 8 Croatian innovations presented at the international innovation expo INNOVA 2015 in Brussels won a medal. In total, Croatian innovators won 4 gold, three silver and one bronze medal.

During the three day event 300 different innovations from 30 countries were presented. Among 100 members of the international expert panel Croatia was represented by Zoran Barišić. Croatian presentation at the 64th INNOVA 2015 was organised by the Association of Innovators, with the support of the Croatian Association of Technical Culture and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

Gold medals were won by the following innovations -  speed measuring and event registration system for type IRAS19 rail vehicles by Zvonimir Viduka and company Altpro from Zagreb; Helloquent, special case for mobile phones by Tomislav Juratovac and company Pro Hepro from Zagreb; ionisation technology for lowering crude oil pour point by Antun Drvar from Pušćina and liquid flow measuring pipe construction by Krešimir Komljenović from HEP production. Tomislav Jutarovac's innovation also received a gold medal from the Romanian Ministry of Science and Education as well as a special award presented by the Belguim Ministry for promotion and education of young people, while HEP's innovation received a special award from the expo organisers.
