As Dubrovački Dnevnik reports on the 5th of August, 2017, residents of the Pearl of the Adriatic are preparing a peaceful protest against property taxes and invite all those interested to get together in front of Onofrio's Fountain on the 25th of this month.
"We invite all people of good will and with a strong desire for change to join us in a peaceful protest against the new law on the 25th of August, 2017, beginning at 18:30 next to Onofrio's Fountain on Stradun. Bring as many people as you can as it is time to show our teeth, to show that we are not only sheep for shearing, and to let the authorities know that they work for us, not us for them!''
