By 6 August 2017

The Delegation of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, led by Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić, participated in the celebration of Victory Day and Homeland Thanksgiving and the Day of Croatian Defenders in Knin.

As Glas Glada reported on the 6th of August, 2017, long-running Dubrovnik-Neretva County Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić and his delegation took part in events in Knin yesterday, on the occasion of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, as well as the Day of Defenders.

The Dubrovnik delegates showed their respect to those who defended the country from Serbian aggression during the 1990s by placing a wreath and a candle at Ante Starčević Square at the Monument of the Croatian Victory "Storm 95" as a heartfelt tribute to all Croatian defenders, many of whom paid for Croatia's freedom with their lives.

The program of the day continued at Knin Fortress as the state flag was solemnly raised. The central part of the Day of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving, as well as Croatian Defenders Day continued with the traditional Mass for the Homeland in Knin.
