More earthquakes in the region as Herzegovina is hit.
As Jutarnji List reports on the 28th of August, 2017, earthquakes rocked the territory of Herzegovina this morning, and the first in the series with a magnitude of 4 was the most powerful.
The first earthquake was recorded at 06:02 between Mostar and Široki Brijeg at a magnitude of 4 and a depth of 3.9 kilometers. Another struck at 06:09, and another followed shortly after at 06:14.
The earthquakes were felt in Dalmatia and the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center received reports from people in various locations such as Metković, Baška Voda and Makarska that the earthquake had been felt and had even woken people up.
No damage has been reported.
