What do Zadrans do in times of adversity and disaster? Laugh it all off, as only Dalmatian people can.
Zadar has been hit with devastating and one of the most disastrous floods in recent years, which has affected and spread damage all across the County, including Nin.
Although such a difficult situation is hardly anything to joke about, maintaining a sense of humour makes such stressful situations easier to handle.
Most people cope with disaster by panicking, worrying or succumbing to dark thoughts, some people act and do whatever to help out and then there are few that believe that laughter is the best way to face adversity. Several Zadrans have shown off their humour and proven that despite the disastrous situation, their spirits remain high, reports Vijesti RTL on September 12, 2017.
Few of them chose to make the best of the challenging situation and took out their inflatables in the very centre of Zadar - in front of the Church of St Donatus. Others chose to test their diving skills by jumping into the strong torrent in the northern part of the city, Plovanija, even despite the contents of the septic tanks sliding down the street. The video footage was posted by the hilarious Facebook page titled The daily dose of the average Dalmatian (Dnevna doza prosječnog Dalmatinca).
