As Dubrovacki Dnevnik reports on the 13th of September, 2017, a Thomson aircraft on its way back from Rhodes, Greece and bound for Manchester Airport, England, arrived at Dubrovnik Airport at about 06:30 this morning.
As Avioradar reports, the reason for the redirection is due to the expiration of the crew's working hours (duty time)!
A flight from Birmingham, England to the same Greek destination of Rhodes was also redirected to Dubrovnik Airport at 10:45 this morning in order to receive a new crew.
Avioradar would like to point out that for potential security worries, this unusual event didn't involve any sort of dangerous or out of the ordinary cirucmstances in a negative sense.
