An earthquake with its epicenter close to Medjugorje made Dalmatia tremble a bit this afternoon.
As DuList writes on the 3rd of November, 2017, almost all of Dalmatia felt some movement from an earthquake close to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, earlier this afternoon.
Dubrovnik in particular felt a shake or two after the 4.2 earthquake with a depth of five kilometers struck at 13:59 today, with an epicenter located about 20 kilometers outside of Medjugorje.
"Today, on November the 3rd, 2017 at 13:59, the seismographs of the Seismologic Service of Croatia showed a rather strong earthquake with an epicenter 20km north northeast of Metković in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.2, and in the epicentral zone it was felt by the V degree intensity. It is known that in Croatia, the earthquake was felt in the wider Metković area,'' the Seismological Service reports.
No injury or material damage has been reported.
