Dubrovnik Tourist Board Wins ''Golden Interstas'' Award!

By 11 November 2017

A praiseworthy award for Dubrovnik's Tourist Board!

Unless you live under a rock, you've probably come to realise that Dubrovnik and awards pretty much go hand in hand and it isn't exactly difficult to work out why that is. With every nomination, award and recognition that Dubrovnik so deservedly wins, come new opportunities for the Pearl of the Adriatic's incredible portfolio - from tourism to commercials, film and TV, to business and investment.

As Dubrovacki Dnevnik writes on the 11th of November, 2017, the 24th International Tourism, Film and Landscape Festival was held in Solin from November the 8th to the 11th this year, and Dubrovnik's Tourist Board won the Golden Interstas Award. This meaningful and prestigious international award is for excellence in the development of cultural tourism and makes yet another great contribution to the rapidly growing recognition of Croatia's ever-widening tourism offer on the international scene.

Three international tourist, film and landscape events: INTERSTAS, ITF'CRO - INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF TOURIST FILMS, and KEA have already secured their somewhat ''traditional'' places as internationally affirmed events and members and partners of world associations, which reward international reach in the field of tourism, tourism film, travel, environmental protection, ecology and sustainable development. With its enviable reputation and organisation, as well as its rich and creative support, it actively contributes to the faster growth of travel markets across the world.

136 proposals from 80 countries around the globe were received in the hopes of winning the Golden Interstas award, of which only 7 were selected.

Congratulations to Dubrovnik's Tourist Board!
