''My Patrol'' App Gives Away Police Patrol, Radar and Camera Locations on Croatian Roads

Want to avoid getting pulled over? The popular app is now available here in Croatia.

As automobili.hr writes on the 18th of June, 2018, following a series of bad driving related news, from rising fuel prices and rising parking prices to Uber making things much more expensive, some much awaited good news has arrived for Croatia's road users.

From now on, the free mobile app Moja Patrola (My Patrol) which reveals where police patrols, cameras and radars are located at all times, will be available all over Croatia.

Otherwise, the app is one of the most popular in Serbia, with more than 100,000 registered users. The arrival of Moja Patrola in the Republic of Croatia is sure to see a similar wave of success for the app as users download it in their masses to avoid fines.

Moja Patrola's basic principle is simple, and here's the way in which the app works: When someone notices the police, either police presence, a police radar or a speed camera, they can use the app to report the location, other Moja Patrola users then receive timely notifications of police patrols reported by other app users.

Each user can confirm or deny the patrol location at any given time. A complex algorithm calculates the reliability of each notification so that the data supplied by the app to its users is displayed in the most accurate way possible, avoiding the publication of any false or incorrect information.

Given that the application is based on a "user for user" principle, its goal is to allow for drivers to help each other out by providing the most accurate information on police patrols, radars and cameras as possible, and in addition to all that it does, this popular, free mobile application also notifies its users of the accuracy of any information provided.
