Over €1Bn To Be Set Aside for Development of Islands Until 2027

ZAGREB, 20 Aug, 2021 - EU Funds and Regional Development Minister Nataša Tramišak said on Friday in Split that HRK 7.8 billion would be earmarked for development projects on Croatian islands until 2027. The national plan for the development of islands will provide a scope for investments, and we have assessed that 7.8 billion kuna will be necessary for the implementation of measures envisaged by the plan. Zagreb Stock Exchange: Crobex Drops Over 0.6%

ZAGREB, 19 Aug, 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices decreased on Thursday, the Crobex by 0.63% to 1,951.26 points and the Crobex10 by 0.53% to 1,201.23 points, while regular turnover was HRK 4.96 million. Croatian Seaports Handle More Passengers and Cargo in Q2 2021

ZAGREB, 19 August, 2021 - The turnover of passengers at Croatian seaports in the second quarter of 2021 reaches 5.4 million, up 81.8% on the year and 41.9% more than in the same period in 2019, according to the national statistical office (DZS). The port in Split recorded the highest number of passengers -- 739,970 -- which is 115.3% more than in the same period the year before.
