More and More Taxi Service Providers in Croatia

ZAGREB, 22 March, 2021 - The number of taxi entrepreneurs in Croatia has kept rising since 2009, when a mere 22 businesses of this type were registered to 1,343 in 2019, and an additional 274 taxi businesses were set up from the start of 2020 to mid-March in 2021, the Financial  Agency (Fina) said on Monday. Over 233,000 Consumers Owing HRK 16.9 Bn Subjected to Debt Enforcement in February

ZAGREB, 21 March 2021 - At the end of February this year, 233,736 consumers in Croatia were subjected to debt enforcement proceedings for HRK 16.9 billion owed, as were 15,504 business operators owing HRK 15 billion, according to the data from the Financial Agency (FINA). The number of consumers in debt fell by 6,151 or 2.6% compared with February 2020, while their debt principal increased by HRK 100 million or 0.9% to HRK 16.9 billion. Croatian National Bank: "45% of Croatia's Citizens Support Euro Adoption"

ZAGREB, 19 March, 2021 - The percentage of Croatian citizens who support the adoption of the euro in February this year has reached 45%, up by four percentage points from 41% in a previous survey, conducted in March 2020, the Croatian National Bank (HNB) said on Friday.
