Project to Upgrade Port of Baska Launched

ZAGREB, October 22, 2020 - An agreement on the extension of the port of Baska on the northern Adriatic island of Krk was signed on Thursday. The project is worth HRK 41.1 million, of which HRK 39.7 million will be provided by the EU and the rest by the county port authority. The work will be carried out by the Aqua Mont Service company and will include extending the existing quay and ensuring necessary protection of the waters within the port area and appropriate berths for passenger ships. Croatian Employers Satisfied With New Measures, But Issue Warning...

Masks that Stop Corona and Other Viruses Produced in Croatia

October 21, 2020 – Croatian company Splendor Tekstil has produced a new innovative product - four-layer masks that stop corona and other viruses, with 99 percent antibacterial and 99 percent antiviral protection. As Jutarnji.hr reports, after being the first in Croatia to mass-produce surgical masks in June, the domestic company Splendor Tekstil continued to do an excellent job. Government to Provide Graded Assistance to Employers until Year's End

ZAGREB, Oct 20, 2020 - Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Tuesday announced a new HRK 350 million set of measures designed to help the enterprise sector in the COVID pandemic circumstances until the end of this year.
