ACI Marina's Operating Profit Thirteen Million Kuna Higher

HNB Revises Down 2022 GDP Growth Forecast From 4.1% to 3.2%

ZAGREB, 13 April 2022 - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) expects in its baseline scenario that its projection of real GDP growth of 4.1% in 2022, published in December 2021, will go down to 3.2%, mostly due to unfavourable indirect and direct economic effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Finance Ministry to Issue Bonds on International Financial Market

ZAGREB, 13 April 2022 - As the maturity of the oldest Croatian euro bond in the amount of €1.25 billion is approaching, the Finance Ministry will for the first time this year issue a bond on the international financial market, with 2032 as the year of maturity. The Finance Ministry on Wednesday opened a subscription book for new Croatian euro bonds ahead of 30 May, the maturity date of the €1.25 billion euro bond, the oldest Croatian euro bond issued in 2014. ZSE Indices Drop

ZAGREB, 12 April 2022 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices fell on Tuesday, the Crobex by 0.69% to 2,130 points and the Crobex10 by 0.48% to 1,276 points. The Crobex indices thus followed the trend of European stock indices, which are under pressure due to the war in Ukraine, the slowdown in economic growth and high inflation. EIB Group Invests €760m in Croatia in 2021

ZAGREB, 12 April 2022 - The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group in 2021 secured €760 million to support Croatia's economy, and in 2022 and the years to come emphasis will be put, among other things, on increasing energy independence with investments in renewable energy sources and liquefied natural gas. Croatia Sees 19.3% Drop in Job Seekers in March

11 April 2022 - A total of 125,604 unemployed persons were registered with the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ) at the end of March 2022, down by 3.7% from the previous month and by 19.3% from March 2021. March was the second month in a row to see a decline in the number of unemployed persons on a monthly level. There were 4,849 fewer of them compared with February. Compared with March 2021, their number decreased by 29,984. Daily figures indicate that the number of unemployed persons will continue to fall in April as well.
