The butterfly – a symbol of beauty, change, fragility, yet such resilience. The Vukovarski Leptirići (Vukovar Butterflies) parents’ association cares for children who are just as fragile and just as resilient – those with developmental disabilities. Founded in 2011, the association has been providing psychological and social care for this vulnerable group. They employ over 35 people, caring for more than 228 members. Green Action: Finally a Proposal for Fairer Bills and Waste Collection Services

ZAGREB, 15 Feb 2022 - The Green Action NGO on Tuesday welcomed the decision by Zagreb City authorities regarding waste collection, saying this was a big step in the right direction enabling fairer bills, more recycling and less waste delivered to the city's Jakuševac landfill. Commercial Accommodation Facilities See Large Increases in December and All of 2021

ZAGREB, 13 Feb 2022 - A total of 70.2 million bed nights were generated in commercial accommodation facilities in Croatia in 2021, 72% more than in 2020, with 63 million or 78% generated by foreign tourists, leading to a 297.6% increase in bed nights generated by foreign visitors in December. Study Shows 20% of Secondary School Students Exposed to Online Sexual Harassment

ZAGREB, 13 Feb (Hina) - As many as 20% of secondary school students have witnessed or experienced online sexual harassment, and nearly half have seen their peers share sexual content via chat, a profile or forum, according to results of a DeShame study.
