Medical Chamber Launches Humanitarian Campaign for Ukraine

ZAGREB, 17 March 2022 - The Croatian Medical Chamber (HLK) said on Thursday that it had launched a humanitarian campaign to raise funds to help the Ukrainian people and doctors. 70 Buildings Undergoing Retrofitting, Decision for Another 400 Adopted

ZAGREB, 17 March 2022 - Two years after the Zagreb earthquake, 70 buildings are undergoing retrofitting on their own and decisions have been made for about 400 buildings to be reconstructed under the Reconstruction Fund scheme in March, April and May, Deputy Zagreb Mayor Luka Korlaet said on Thursday. Reduction of Environmental Levy to Lower Fuel Prices

ZAGREB, 17 March 2022 - The government adopted a regulation on Thursday aimed at curbing the fuel price hike for distributors which will be in force until the end of the year, significantly reducing the environmental levy from HRK 0.30 to just HRK 0.01 per megajoules (MJ) for omitting to add biofuel on the market. Reducing the levy from HRK 0.30 to 0.01 per MJ will result in a HRK 0.50 decrease per litre for consumers. ZAGREB, 17 March 2022 - The COVID situation allows for further relaxing restrictions, so more people will be allowed at public events and hospitality establishments to stay open longer, while the self-testing of children in schools is being revoked, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said on Thursday.
