ZAGREB, 16 May, 2021 - The 72nd edition of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be held from 10 July to 25 August, with over 60 plays, concerts, dance and folklore performances taking place at about 10 venues, the organisers announced earlier this week. The budget of the 72nd Dubrovnik Summer Festival is nearly HRK 8 million, which is HRK 1.5 million more than in 2020. The festival's own funds, including revenues from sponsors, donors and tickets, account for 30% of the budget. ZAGREB, 16 May, 2021 - The Croatian Deaf Sport Federation will host the 12th European Deaf Handball Championship in Zagreb on 18 to 27, the first major competition of the deaf to take place in Croatia. The championship will feature six national teams - Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Croatia. ZAGREB, 16 May, 2021 - French comic book artist, colorist, and writer Cyril Pedrosa will pay a visit to Zagreb from 19 to 26 May to participate in several public events, including the opening of the exhibition of original boards "The Golden Age" and attendance at the Zagreb Crtani Romani Šou/Zagreb Comic Con festival. Pedrosa will hold a creative and cartooning workshop for beginners and masterclass for undergraduates at Zagreb's Academy of Fine Arts.
