ZAGREB, 19 Feb 2022 - A total of 807 banknotes of all currencies were withdrawn from circulation in Croatia in 2021, which is 77.8% more than in 2020, and 198 of them were counterfeit kuna banknotes, which is an increase of 26.1%, the Croatian National Bank (HNB) said earlier this week. ZAGREB, 20 Feb 2022 - The Social Democratic Party (SDP) president, Peđa Grbin, said on Sunday that 50,000 kuna (€6,700), which is equivalent to the sum he has received as a member of parliament through Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) since 2016, would be donated to the charitable cause.
