Value of Fiscalised Receipts Issued Last Week 6% Higher Y-o-Y

ZAGREB, 3 Jan 2022 - The value of fiscalised receipts issued for all activities last week recorded an increase of 39% compared to the corresponding week last year and up 6% from the corresponding week in 2019, the Tax Administration reported on Monday. In the week of 27 December 2021 to 2 January 2022, the value of fiscalised receipts for all activities amounted to HRK 3.4 billion (€453 million), which is HRK 964.2 million or 39% more than for the comparable period a year ago. Croatian Tourism in 2021: 14 Million Tourists Who Spent 84 Million Nights

January 3, 2022 - Last year was a great one for Croatian tourism: there were 13.8 million arrivals and 84.1 million overnight stays in Croatia, that is 77 percent more arrivals and 55 percent more overnight stays than in the same period in 2020. Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 1,103 New Cases, 44 Deaths

ZAGREB, 3 Jan 2022 - In the last 24 hours 1,103 coronavirus cases, out of 4,577 tests, and 44 related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday. There are 27,512 active cases, including 1,795 hospitalized patients, of whom 239 are on ventilators, while 16,284 persons are self-isolating. In the last 24 hours the share of positive tests was 24%. Croatia's Total Debt to GDP Ratio 82.4% at September's End, Down 2.3 pp Y/Y

ZAGREB, 3 Jan 2022 - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) has recently published figures about the country's debt, showing that the total debt amounted to HRK 344.7 billion at the end of September 2021. 50,000 Tourists in Croatia Celebrated NYE 2022

January 3, 2022 - 50,000 tourists in Croatia welcomed 2022, and some hotel facilities saw 5.5x more guests than last year! According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, of the total number of guests currently staying in Croatia, 30 thousand are foreign visitors. Most tourists were recorded in Istria and Kvarner, followed by Split-Dalmatia, Dubrovnik-Neretva, and Zadar counties, Jutarnji List.
