Split Policemen Rescue Tangled Dolphin Near Ciovo (PHOTOS)

October 27, 2021 - Not the everyday mission as Split policemen rescue a tangled dolphin just off the coast of Ciovo.  The commander of the Split police vessel, Mate Merčep, and his two fellow police officers (Marko Tadić and Jure Katavić) from the Split-Dalmatia Police Department set out to monitor the state border towards Vis on Tuesday morning. Vukovar Council: Conditions Not Met for Enhancement of Ethnic Serb Rights

ZAGREB, 26 October, 2021 - The Vukovar City Council decided on Tuesday by a majority vote that conditions had not yet been met to enhance the rights of local Serbs, primarily the right to bilingual official signs in the area of this eastern Croatian city. ZAGREB, 26 October, 2021 - MP Marijana Puljak of the Centre party said on Tuesday that the Split city administration had not signed a contract for a HRK 135 million loan with OTP Bank but had just agreed an overdraft, to be used if necessary. Plenković Says Classes Online Next Thursday, Friday

2021 Croatia Airlines Winter Schedule Announced, More Spring Ryanair Zagreb Flights

October 26, 2021 - The 2021 Croatia Airlines winter schedule has been announced, while Ryanair has begun announcing even more spring flights from its Zagreb base next year.  Croatia Airlines has announced its winter flight schedule, which will take effect on the last day of October and run until the end of March next year, reports Croatian Aviation. Osijek, Hajduk, and Slaven Belupo First to Secure Croatian Cup Quarterfinals

October 26, 2021 - The Croatian Cup quarterfinals began on Tuesday, with the first teams securing their spot in the next round of the competition.  Osijek was the first to advance to the Croatian Cup quarterfinals, topping second division team Rudeš 2:0 (0:0) in Zagreb. Zagreb to Disburse HRK 22M in Aid to Quake-Damaged Family Houses in 2021

ZAGREB, 26 October, 2021 - Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević said on Tuesday that 834 applications were received in a second call for financial support to repair earthquake damaged houses and that about HRK 22 million will have been disbursed for that purpose until the end of 2021.
