Port Ploče: Leviathan, Largest Ship in History of Port Arrives

June 27th, 2021 - The largest ship in the history of Port Ploče, Leviathan, sailed in on Saturday night.  Like Metković reports, the opening of the new bulk cargo terminal of the Port of Ploče was marked in February earlier this year with the arrival of the largest ship in the history of the port of Orient Cavalier, which falls into the category of the baby Capesize bulk carriers. Croatia Reports 45 New Coronavirus Cases, 3 Deaths

ZAGREB, 27 June, 2021 - Croatia has registered 45 new coronavirus cases and three COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus crisis management team reported on Sunday. Currently, there are 514 active cases in the country and among them are 196 people receiving hospital treatment, including 11 who are on ventilators. A total of 3,350 people are self-isolating. Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 359,652 people have been registered as having contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,200 have died and 350,938 have recovered, including 88 in the last 24 hours. COVID-19 Outbreak in Zadar County: New Low-Risk Area for Travelers Returning to Germany

June 27, 2021 - Due to a COVID-19 outbreak in Zadar County, it is now considered a low-risk area for travelers returning to Germany.  As of today, Zadar County is a low-risk area for travelers returning to Germany, reports HRT. This means that those who leave that county for Germany must first register digitally, have a negative test when entering the country, or self-isolate until a negative test is presented. Croatia Airlines Launches Seasonal Flight Service Between Split and Prague

ZAGREB, 27 June, 2021 - Croatia Airlines has launched a new seasonal route between Split and Prague and will operate it every Saturday until mid-September, the national carrier announced on Sunday. This direct flight service between Prague and Split will offer Czech tourists an even better choice of travel to the Croatian part of the Mediterranean, the airline said.
