Marina Kastela Yacht Fire: Five Yachts Destroyed, Millions of Euros in Damages

May 30, 2021 - The Marina Kastela yacht fire on Saturday night destroyed 5 yachts and damaged 18. Czech Tourists Can Enter Croatia without Restrictions 22 Days Since First Vaccine

ZAGREB, 29 May 2021 - Czech tourists will be able to enter Croatia without additional restrictions within 22 days of receiving the first COVID-19 vaccine shot, the foreign ministers of the two countries said on Saturday. The decision should enter into force next week, when "the details are finalised at expert levels," Gordan Grlić Radman of Croatia said at a press conference. 1st Train within Seasonal Prague -Zagreb -Rijeka/Split Service Arrives in Rijeka

ZAGREB, 29 May 2021 - The first train within the Czech rail operator RegioJet's seasonal train service on the Prague- Zagreb-Rijeka/Split route arrived in Rijeka on Saturday morning, bringing more than 150 travellers to this northern Croatian seaport. On Saturday afternoon, the RegioJet train is expected in Split. Over 30,000 tickets have been sold to date for this train service this summer. Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 338 New Cases, Ten Deaths, 497 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 29 May 2021 - In the last 24 hours, 5,971 tests have been conducted for coronavirus, and 5.6%, that is 338 have turned out to be positive, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Saturday. The COVID-related death toll has risen by 10 to 8,002. There are currently 2,557 active cases, including 819 hospitalised patients of whom 88 are on ventilators. Since 25 February 2020 when Croatia registered its first case of infection with coronavirus, more than two million tests have been conducted, showing that 355,955 people have caught the virus.
