ZAGREB, 23 May, 2021 - The leaders of the EU-27 will convene for a summit on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the meeting of climate protection targets, foreign policy issues and the COVID-19 situation. This will be the first physical summit in Brussels since December. ZAGREB, 23 May, 2021 - Finance Minister Zdravko Marić said on Sunday it was very good for Croatia that Fitch had affirmed its investment rating. Fitch Ratings on Friday affirmed Croatia's rating at 'BBB-', with a stable outlook, highlighting big short-term risks related to the pandemic as well as the medium-term outlook for economic growth thanks to the EU's financial support. ZAGREB, 23 May, 2021 - In the past 24 hours 251 coronavirus cases and 20 COVID-19 deaths have been registered in Croatia, with the number of active cases at 3,881, the national COVID-19 response team said on Sunday. Of 1,202 hospitalised COVID-19 patients, 123 are on ventilators. Croatia has registered 353,986 coronavirus cases to date, including 7,903 fatalities, while 342,202 persons have recovered from it, including 711 in the past 24 hours.
