Croatian Flag Recognised by US Coast Guard

ZAGREB, July 10, 2020 - The Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport has been informed in a letter from the US Coast Guard that ships sailing under the Croatian flag have met the highest criteria of safety and quality in the previous three years as prescribed by the Qualship 21 eligibility criteria. Conditions determined with Qualship 21 are very high and the number of incidents of being stopped at US ports has to be less than 1% over a three-year period, and ships sailing under the Croatian flag have met these criteria, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
