March 3, 2021 - The first two rounds of the Croatian Cup quarterfinals were held on Wednesday. Fundraising Tennis Tournament to be Held in Osijek in April

ZAGREB, 2 March 2021 - Croatia's professional tennis player Donna Vekić on Monday announced a humanitarian tennis tournament in Osijek for 6-7 April, and the proceeds will be collected for building public tennis courts in Osijek-Baranja County. The first edition of the fundraising Premier Tennis Show was held in Osijek last year at the height of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. March 1, 2021 - Zlatko Cico Kranjčar, former Croatia national football team coach and father of football player Niko Kranjčar, has died. Jutarnji List and Index.hr reported that legendary Croatian football player and football coach Zlatko Cico Kranjčar has passed away. He died at KBC Merkur after a short and severe illness. Zlatko Kranjčar's health deteriorated about ten days ago in Zadar, where he ended up in the hospital. He was urgently transferred to Zagreb, but doctors were unable to save his life. Osijek to Host European Shooting Championship this Spring

ZAGREB, 1, March 2021 - The 2021 European Championship in Shooting will take place in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek from 20 May to 6 June, and the Croatian Armed Forces will support local authorities in the organisation of the event. UEFA Donates €200,000 to Zagreb

ZAGREB, 28 February 2021 - Following an appeal by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS), UEFA has donated €200,000 to help clubs and football organisations in the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County following a 22 March 2020 earthquake. For weeks after the magnitude 5.5 tremor, the HNS collected data on the damage to the football infrastructure, which was reported by a dozen clubs and organisations. The UEFA Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee considered the HNS appeal and decided to donate €200,000 to the HNS for the reconstruction of the infrastructure.
