Europa Conference League Recap: Osijek Falls to CSKA Sofia (2:4), Rijeka and Hibernian Draw

August 6, 2021 - In the Europa Conference League 3rd qualifying round, Osijek falls to CSKA Sofia, while Rijeka and Hibernian draw in Edinburgh.  In the first game of the Conference League 3rd qualifying round, Osijek suffered a 2:4 (1:3) away defeat to CSKA in Sofia. Croatian Referee Sanja Rođak-Karšić to Assist in Olympic Women's Football Final

August 5, 2021 - Sanja Rođak-Karšić is the highest-ranking referee in Croatia (1.HNL) in the category 'assistant referees - 1st group'. These are her second Olympic Games after she previously refereed in Rio 2016. Champions League Qualifiers: Dinamo and Legia Warsaw End 1:1 at Maksimir

August 5, 2021 - Dinamo and Legia Warsaw played 1:1 at Maksimir to open the Champions League 3rd qualifying round on Wednesday.  In the first match of the Champions League 3rd qualifying round, Dinamo played 1:1 against Legia Warsaw in front of 4,597 spectators at Maksimir Stadium. Ugly Scenes in Capital: 200 Bad Blue Boys and Legia Warsaw Fans Clash in Dubrava

August 4, 2021 - Ugly scenes broke out in Zagreb last night as Dinamo fan group Bad Blue Boys and Legia Warsaw fans clashed in the capital ahead of the Champions League qualifier tonight at Maksimir.  A fight broke out in Zagreb's Dubrava area late Tuesday night. Hungary Wins Olympic Quarterfinal, No Medal for Croatia Water Polo in Tokyo

August 4, 2021 - A shock in Tokyo as Hungary defeated Croatia in the final quarterfinal match in Tokyo on Wednesday. Croatia water polo is thus out of the Olympic medal fight.  The Croatia water polo team met Hungary on Wednesday for a spot in the semifinals of the Olympic Games. August 4, 2021 - Croatian wrestler Ivan Huklek fought in the Olympic bronze medal match in the 87 kg category in Tokyo on Wednesday.   Ivan Huklek, 24, failed to win the bronze medal at the Games in Tokyo in the 87kg category, where he was defeated 6-1 by naturalized Serbian Zurab Datunashvili. Croatian Wrestler Ivan Huklek in Olympic Semifinal!

August 3, 2021 - Croatian wrestler Ivan Huklek advanced to the semifinals of the Olympic Games in Tokyo! Huklek defeated Uzbekistan's Rustam Asakalov 4-1 in the Greco-Roman quarter-final in the 87kg category,  reports HRT. Huklek thus reached his national team colleague Božo Starčević, who also achieved the greatest success of Croatian wrestling by placing in the semifinals of the Olympic tournament.
