The Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Spain opened in Split on Friday. Mirko Tunjić was appointed the Honorary Consul, and said that the Consulate would contribute to strengthening the overall diplomatic ties between the two countries and serve Spanish tourists and guests coming to Croatia, reports Splitski Dnevnik on March 16, 2019.  "Last year, more than 250,000 tourists from Spain visited Croatia, and their number is growing each year.
