Croatia Control Awarded at World Air Traffic Management Congress

ZAGREB, March 18 (Hina) - Croatia Control (HKZP), a state-owned company that provides air navigation services, pursuing the basic principle of a high level of air traffic safety in conformity with the Single European Sky framework, received the European Commission’s Single European Sky Award 2019 for a multinational project on the establishment of a joint South East Common Sky Initiative Free Route Airspace, which became operational on February 1. Honorary Consulate of Spain Opens in Split to Strengthen Ties, Serve Tourists

The Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Spain opened in Split on Friday. Mirko Tunjić was appointed the Honorary Consul, and said that the Consulate would contribute to strengthening the overall diplomatic ties between the two countries and serve Spanish tourists and guests coming to Croatia, reports Splitski Dnevnik on March 16, 2019.  "Last year, more than 250,000 tourists from Spain visited Croatia, and their number is growing each year. First Nordic Walking Festival to be Held in Varaždin

The first Nordic walking festival will take place in Varaždinska county on March 23rd, organized by the Nordic Walking Association Drava Varaždin, with their partners the County, the County's Tourist Board and Croatian Nordic Walking Association.
