Martina Dalić's Emails Viewed, No Threats to Ivica Todorić Found

By 5 October 2017

Despite the former Agrokor boss' bold accusations, it would seem that no email threats from Martina Dalic have been found...

As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 5th of October, 2017, Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister, Martina Dalić, asked Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to make sure all electronic devices, including her own private ones, were taken to the relevant services of the Republic of Croatia at the end of last month. Her aim was to prove the fact that there was no evidence to suggest that she'd been sending Ivica Todorić and his family threats via email, an act which she's been bluntly accused of by the enraged Todorić in his numerous recent blog posts.

Recently, the former Agrokor boss took to his now infamous blog to fire verbal shots at various people in positions of political power, Martina Dalić was one of those caught in his firing line and she managed to find herself on the receiving end of some extremely serious allegations, the most concerning of which was that Ivica Todorić claimed that she was ''shamelessly lying'' and that he had ''received threats from her, delivered in a manner (electronically) which could not be deleted''. He also claimed the Deputy PM had threatened members of his family and even witnesses. He also stated that when it came to Plenković's remarks during a recent trip to Estonia about ''amnesia'', it would be enough for Martina Dalić ''to look at her email mailbox''.

Given the sheer velocity of Todorić's allegations, the Croatian Government announced on Thursday that the relevant state authorities, at the request of Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić herself, would review all official servers and user accounts, personal communication devices with private email correspondences, etc. After the investigation, they reported that they were unable to find any messages that would point to threats being made to Ivica Todorić himself, to any members of the Todorić family, or to any other member(s) of the Agrokor Management Board.

"No messages were found that would indicate threats to Mr. Ivica Todorić or any other member of the Agrokor Management Board" said the statement from the competent authorities.

"It is clear from all of the above [information] that Martina Dalić has requested full verification of all her email accounts and [with that] she has proven that there are no threatening messages to Ivica Todorić or any other member of the Agrokor Administration," the Government stated.

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has denounced the use of false information and accusations by Agrokor's Ivica Todorić in his furied cyber-attacks on Deputy PM Martina Dalić, Government appointed extraordinary commissioner Ante Ramljak, PM Andrej Plenković and the entire Government of the Republic of Croatia.

Among other quite frankly bizarre posts, (just to give you an idea of the oddities being written by the ex Agrokor boss, one of the blog posts talks about meeting the Prime Minister at midnight and being given chocolates) on September the 28th, 2017, Ivica Todorić took to his blog and wrote that "Martina Dalić had threatened him in the late hours of the night".

"However, on March the 28th, after Agrokor made tremendous efforts for Stand Still (a project of Todorić's), which was signed by most of Agrokor's banks, Martina Dalić sent a member of Agrokor's Management Board a threatening mail at 02:30, in which she threatened arrests if Lex Agrokor wasn't signed. At a meeting at the Croatian Government, where Antonio Alvarez, Ante Todorić (Ivica Todorić's son) and Martina Dalić met, Martina Dalić threatened to arrest Ante Todorić and the entire family if he didn't sign Lex Agrokor (law),'' writes an increasingly angered Ivica Todorić.
