Ambassador of Montenegro Pays Tribute to Defenders of Dubrovnik

ZAGREB, February 3, 2018 - Montenegrin Ambassador to Croatia Boro Vučinić on Friday attended a wreath-laying ceremony at Dubrovnik's Boninovo cemetery in tribute to Croatian soldiers killed in the defence of the city, the Montenegrin Foreign Ministry said a statement.

The statement said that Vučinić paid an official visit to Dubrovnik on the occasion of the start of the Feast of St Blaise and Dubrovnik Day.

Vučinić met with Dubrovnik Mayor Mato Franković to discuss possibilities of promoting cooperation between Dubrovnik and Montenegrin cities, with emphasis on cooperation between Dubrovnik University and the University of Montenegro, the Ministry said.

The Montenegrin ambassador also underlined the importance of Croatia's support to his country's in the process of its integration with the European Union.
