ZAGREB, June 30, 2018 - Croatian Defence Minister Damir Krstičević will pay an official visit to Israel from July 1 to 3, the Defence Ministry announced in a press release on Saturday.
Krstičević is scheduled to meet with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman for talks on strategic cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the visit, Krstičević will attend an Israeli defence industry conference in Tel Aviv as the highest guest and the only representative from Europe.
The conference, organised by SIBAT, the International Defence Cooperation Directorate of the Israeli Defence Ministry, will focus on global security and defence cooperation. It will bring together about 700 participants from the Israeli defence industry and representatives of the Israeli Defence Ministry, the statement said.
