It is the final Eternal derby of the season; Hajduk hopes to come back after the bad performance in the first leg.
Dinamo and Hajduk played five games this season, and they were eagerly expected, but it seems this one, to be played today, April 6, 2016, is the one without the usual high pressure. Even tough, Hajduk is hoping for a miracle comeback in the second leg of the Cup semi-finals; it would be a mission impossible as Hajduk has not won with more than one goal difference in Maksimir since 2008.
Dinamo is the firm favorite for the finals, as Hajduk is once again missing quite a few players. Hajduk’s fans hope for their best attacker Franck Ohandza to appear in the game, but even if he does come back, it is questionable if he can be of significant help to the team after more than six months of absence.
There were no controversial pre-match announcements on this occasion, as this time Dinamo’s coach, Zoran Mamić has followed the example set by Mr. Burić, and talked about the match itself, not getting involved in matters not related to his domain. Dinamo has included national media in the effort to attract some supporters to the stadium today, but it seems that once again the guests will have the roar of the fans working for them.
Kick-off for the game is scheduled 17.30 CET, and it is worth mentioning that Turkey’s favorite referee, Mr. Ivan Bebek will direct the game.
