Three Key Players Suspended From Croatia Water Polo Team

Sandro Sukno, Paulo Obradović, and Fran Paškvalin are suspended due to indiscipline.

Croatian water polo team has gathered in Zagreb to prepare for Rio Olympics and on April 8, 2016, Croatian Water-polo Federation has announced that three key players, Sukno, Obradović, and Paškvalin are suspended, as they missed some official appointments.

All three players were on the team that won the gold medal in 2012 London Olympics, and the suspension has no time limit. It is unknown if they will be pardoned before the start of the Olympic games, but the Federation has made it clear that indiscipline will not be tolerated.

Water-polo team is the one expected to get the medal in Rio, so this is a huge blow to the ambitions of the team. We have to mention that the team failed to get the wanted result in last big tournament, maybe this is the way to improve the relations within the team, as their quality was never questionable.
