Croatia Draws Netherlands, France, And England In UEFA U-19 Euro

Croatia U-19 national team was drawn in Group B of the European Championships in Germany.

The group draw for the European U19 Football Championship was held on April 12, 2016, in Stuttgart, Germany. This July, Croatia U-19 will face Netherlands, France, and England in the group phase of the Euro.

Croatian team will play Netherlands on July 12 in Heidenheim, France on July 15 in Ulm, and England on July 18 in Heidenheim. Hosts Germany will play in Group A, alongside Italy, Portugal, and Austria.

"This is a tough group with motivating opponents. England ousted Spain in the qualifications round, France finished the Elite Round with all three victories and without conceding a goal, but maybe it is better for us to play the best teams. They provide us with extra motivation. They can even underestimate us since we have many players from '98 generation. However, we will be ready and try to achieve our aim, to be among the five best teams in Europe", said head coach Ferdo Milin for the Croatian Football Federation website.

Croatia U-19 has qualified through Qualifying Round against Montenegro, Hungary, and Kazakhstan, and the Elite Round against Belgium, Scotland, and Bulgaria.
