Round five of Croatian A1 Basketball Champions League is completed with Cedevita winning in a derby against Zadar
The A1 league has come to round five of the competition; on April 17, 2016, we bring you the round-up of the matches played.
Cedevita won in Zadar, probably the most difficult away game in the league for them, and has shown that they are the best team in Croatia at the moment. Cibona has beaten Zagreb in a city derby, an important win for them, to stay in front of the contenders for the ABA League qualification spot.
Split once again lost a match that should not have been lost, as they had a three point lead in dying seconds of the game in Šibenik, but they have spoiled it and lost the match in the overtime. Kvarner won in Gorica, confirming their high ambitions this season.
