Play-Off Finals of Croatian Water-Polo Championship; Jug Gets the First Win

Jug and Primorje are in the finals again, Jug got the first win in Dubrovnik 12-9.

The first game of the playoff final series of the Croatian Water-polo Championship was played on April 20, 2016, in Dubrovnik. Jug took advantage of the home court winning against Primorje 12-9. The series is set to best out of five matches, so the first team to get to three wins will be the new champion. Jug has the advantage since it will play one game more in their home pool.

In the yesterday's game, it was the ex Primorje player, left-handed Spaniard Xabi Garcia who was the best in the home team, scoring five goals. Brasilian Felipe Perone was back in the squad after a long absence and has scored the first goal of the game, completing the foreign influence in the home team.

The second match of the final series will be played in Rijeka on Saturday, April 23.
