By 11 November 2016

Although the entire Bieber production team left for Poland after Justin Bieber’s mega spectacle at Arena Zagreb on Wednesday, Justin decided to extend his stay in the Croatian capital.

While Croatian headlines were adorned with photos of the pop-star after Wednesday night’s concert in Zagreb, Justin Bieber gave Croatia even more than they bargained for. After the concert, not only did Bieber make an appearance at club “The Best” for the official after party, but he spent Thursday at the home of KHL Medveščak where he joined in on the hockey team’s official training, reports Index.hr.

The Canadian musician is a long-time fan of ice hockey and has said that it is his favorite way to relax and escape from the stresses of being on tour. Bieber has stated that he never goes on tour without his entire range of hockey equipment, and upon discovering that the hockey club KHL Medveščak was one of the symbols of Zagreb, he instantly wished to join in on their training.

Justin Bieber arrived at Dom Sportova and completed a full training with the part of a team that is not currently on their Russian tour - and he even got to wear an official Medveščak jersey that bared his name!

After the training, Medveščak player Ivan Janković concluded that, “It was an interesting experience! I'm sure that Justin Bieber appears in someone's locker room every day. It was fun, he was a good fit, and he had a successful training with us without any special requirements. He was one of us, good guy!”
