The Croatian tennis team began on Sunday preparations for the final matches of the Davis Cup competition, to be played from 25 to 27 November in the Zagreb Arena
The team is not yet complete, with only Ivo Karlović and Mate Delić testing the surface in the Arena, but on Monday they should be all together. This includes Marin Čilić, Borna Ćorić, Ivan Dodig, Franko Škugor and Marin Draganja, Jutarnji List reported on November 20, 2016.
“The finals are a special experience, especially as we are playing at home. We all know interest is high, tickets were sold out fast, so we have an exciting weekend ahead of us,” said Ivo Karlović, who is returning to the national team after four years. His last match was in 2012 in Buenos Aires, again against Argentina.
The Argentineans also held their first training in the Zagreb Arena, with all trainings from Monday as official.
One of them for the Croatian team will be from 17h to 19h, with spectators allowed in the first part of practice. Entrance A will be open from 17h.
