Rijeka football team cadets achieved a great result by outplaying Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the tournament in Al Dhafra with 4:0, moving on to the finals where they will match their strength against Barcelona cadets this coming Sunday, NK Rijeka has announced, as Novi List reported on March 17, 2017.
Matej Vuk, Rijeka footballer, scored three goals and was chosen at the best player of the match.
Rijeka took the lead in the fifth minute by Vuk after an assist from Mitrović. The second goal came in the 43rd minute when Matulja secured a penalty kick and Vuk again finished.
Five minutes later it was 3:0 for Rijeka, Vuk again scoring. The fourth goal and confirmation of a big victory came in the 79th minute. Dedić passed to Mitrović who scored.
