Slaven Bilic Back on a Winning Streak with West Ham

By 2 January 2016

This makes it two for two against Liverpool for Croatian football coach

Former coach of the Croatian national football team, currently in West Ham, Slaven Bilić, managed to beat Liverpool again on January 2, 2016, for the second time during this Premiership season. Michail Antonio's opener and a towering header by Andy Carroll secured back-to-back victories for West Ham moving them now two points in front of Liverpool, coached by Jurgen Klopp.

It was a historic day from West Ham supporters since they had to wait for 52 years for their team to record two wins against Liverpool in one season. Last time it happened was way back in the season 63/64.

Slaven Bilić managed to transform West Ham into an attack-minded team since his arrival, he is now often called the "destroyer of titans" in the Barclays Premier League, already securing wins against the big four Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool (twice) causing a major headache for big name coaches. It will be quite interesting if the team's form can continue in 2016, especially since West Ham is still having some difficulty playing against "smaller" teams.
