Ana Konjuh is just one step away from the world Top 20.
Croatia's Fed Cup representative Ana Konjuh has made yet another bold move up in the individual WTA rankings, achieving her highest career ranking as the number 21 best women’s tennis player in the world. Mirjana Lučić-Baroni ranks among the 30 best, placing 29th, reports Gol.hr on July 24, 2017.
Donna Vekić has moved up two positions to 50th, while Petra Martić is now ranked 87th.
The order of the top three women’s tennis players, however, has remained unchanged. For the second week in a row, Karolina Pliškova from the Czech Republic is on top, ahead of Romania’s Simone Halep and Germany’s Angelique Kerber.
Thanks to the fall of Johanne Konte from fourth to seventh place, Wimbledon winner Garbine Muguruza Blanco jumped up to the number 4 position, and Ukraine's Jelina Svitolina to number 5.
