The Croatian national team gets back together this week for their vital World Cup playoff games against Greece.
On Monday, November 6, 2017, the Croatian national football team will gather in Zagreb at Hotel AS in preparation for their two upcoming World Cup playoff matches against Greece. The two playoff matches, as you probably know by now, will determine whether Croatia will participate in the World Cup tournament next year in Russia.
For their first gathering together since last month, the Croatian football federation has made the team training open for all fans of Croatian football. Led by Croatia’s captain Luka Modrić, fans will have the chance to observe and support the players ahead of these two decisive World Cup playoff matches.

The team’s training on Monday will be mostly recuperative, while the only two real training sessions led by Zlatko Dalić will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
The first qualifying match for Croatia is on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 20:45 at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb. The Croatian team will then head to Athens on Saturday for the return match scheduled for Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 20:45 at Karaiskakis Stadium.
Again, the leaders of the Croatian and Greek football federations have agreed that neither match will be organized for away fans.
