Weekday round for Croatian clubs, here's an overview of all upcoming games
SLAVEN BELUPO – ZAGREB – Tuesday, 17.00 CET, Koprivnica
Slaven needs three points desperately, as relegation zone is closing down on the team from Koprivnica. Facing Zagreb, team with hopeless prospects, is probably the best chance for a win they will get. One to be worried about is the pitch, as it is raining in Koprivnica all day, so one more game in CFL to be played in the mud.
HAJDUK – OSIJEK – Split, Tuesday, 19.00 CET, Split
Hajduk is still comfortable in the third place, but to ensure it to be so for a while, they need a win, and supporters being disappointed with two loses on the road in the last two games, it is a must for Hajduk. Still struggling with injuries, and again missing 5 or 6 key players, it will not be easy, but to comfort Hajduk fans, Osijek is one team in Croatia facing even bigger problems at the time.
LOKOMOTIVA – INTER – Wednesday, 17.00 CET, Zagreb
Two teams are on the run in the moment, both playing in a good form, so this match is expected to be nice to watch. One can expect high scoring game, as both teams prefer an attacking style, but again, it is a state of the pitch in Kranjceviceva that could be a problem.
SPLIT – RIJEKA – Wednesday, 19.00 CET, Split
Derby of the day, Rijeka needs a win to continue its pressure on Dinamo, and the hosts want to play in Europa League next year, and losing in Maksimir on Sunday put some pressure on them, and as Lokomotiva is on the run, contesting Split’s chances for fourth place, they will be eager to get a win here.
ISTRA 1961 – DINAMO – Thursday, 18.00 CET, Pula
Anything but the win by the guests would be a huge surprise. Dinamo is more bothered by UEFA suspending their youth team from Champions League, than the competition in CFL. Istra is in a tough place, facing relegation playoffs, and one can expect an effort from their side, but not more than that.
