It is time for round 27, some interesting matches ahead
Next week brings the always highly anticipated clash between two biggest rivals in Croatian football, as Hajduk and Dinamo will meet on Poljud not once but twice because a Cup game is also scheduled. However, before that, some warming up will start on March, 11. 2016. Here are the previews of all the games. At least for more interesting ones, that is.OSIJEK - INTER - Osijek - Friday, 18.00 CET
OSIJEK - INTER - Osijek - Friday, 18.00 CET
Match that is much more important for the home team, as every game is a qualification one for Osijek while Inter is in a comfortable position at the moment, not likely to go either up or down on the table. Osijek has played two good games in Split and Rijeka in last two rounds, and will hope to improve it a bit more on the home pitch.
SLAVEN BELUPO - SPLIT - Koprivnica - Saturday, 15.00 CET
Split got only one point in last three games played and has won only against Zagreb this year. As they want to stay in the battle for the Europa League position, they need to start winning. Slaven Belupo is looking good, and it is a team which is not easy to beat, especially in Koprivnica, so this is the one to watch.
ISTRA 1961 - RIJEKA - Pula - Saturday, 17.00 CET
Just like their rivals Osijek, Istra needs every point possible to avoid relegation. Rijeka is hoping to stay close to Dinamo, keeping their title hopes alive. The win is a must for Rijeka, and as this is a regional clash, one can expect an interesting game.
DINAMO - LOKOMOTIVA - Zagreb - Sunday, 15.00 CET
We were thinking hard what to write about this game for a whole week and came up with nothing. If you're not familiar with the structure of teams in Croatia, this is basically Dinamo playing against their own B team.
HAJDUK - ZAGREB - Split - Sunday, 17.00 CET
Zagreb is a team preparing to play the next season in the second division, and as Hajduk is without a win for four games in a row, this is the perfect opportunity to get some confidence back before the big game against Dinamo. Hajduk is a favorite, but as the team is struggling with the form, and since young players tend to be unpredictable, anything is possible.
