The final list of 23 players on the road to Russia has been announced.
June 4, 2018 - In a press conference held today at precisely 12:30, Croatia national team coach Zlatko Dalić announced his final list of 23 players who will represent Croatia at the World Cup in Russia in a few short weeks.
From his preliminary list of 24 players, Zlatko Dalić crossed off Matej Mitrović from the World Cup list. Dalić knew that the elimination would be in the defense, and though he marched between Matej Mitrović and Duje Ćalete-Car, in the end, it is Mitrović who will remain without the World Cup this year.
Here is the final World Cup lineup:
Goalkeepers: Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Lovre Kalinić (Gent), Dominik Livaković (Dinamo)

The Croatian national team has begun their second part of preparations for the World Cup. After training in Istria and Rovinj last week, this week the team heads to Rijeka and Kvarner. The final test for Croatia before the World Cup is scheduled for this Friday at 18.00 in Osijek at City Garden Stadium, where Croatia will host Senegal. The Croatia national team will head to St. Petersburg next Monday, June 11. Croatia's first match in the World Cup will be on June 16 in Kaliningrad against Nigeria.
