The Croatia national football team returns this October for three games on Croatian turf.
October 2, 2018 - After a wonderful summer in Russia where Croatia became World Cup finalists, followed by an unbelievable welcome in Croatia, and, well, a rather upsetting defeat to Spain last month in their Nations League debut, the Croatia national team returns this month for three games played on Croatian soil.
On Monday, the Croatian Football Federation announced a friendly match for the national team against NK Bjelovar as part of the club’s 110th birthday celebration. Set to take place on October 9th, Croatia should arrive in Bjelovar with their football superstars, including the best player in the world - Luka Modrić, Ivan Rakitić, Ivan Perišić, and company.
The match will be played at 4 pm and tickets are currently available for sale. Prices are as follows: East - 100 kuna, South - 80 kuna and North (standing) - 50 kuna.
Three days later, on October 12th, Croatia will play their second Nations League game against England at Rujevica stadium in Rijeka. The game, however, will be played behind closed doors as Croatia serves the remainder of their UEFA punishment from the match against Italy, played at Split’s Poljud in 2015, where a swastika was noticed on the pitch. The game will be open to media and will be streamed live on television.
On October 15th, Croatia will complete their national team duties for the month with a friendly match against the national team of Jordan. The friendly will also be played at Rujevica in Rijeka and will be open to all fans of the Croatia national team.
Croatia coach Zlatko Dalić has announced the full squad for the upcoming games, which sees Ante Rebić, Andrej Kramarić, and Dejan Lovren back from injury. Recall, the three European stars were not available to Dalić for the game against Spain in September.

In November, Croatia will face Spain in the return match of the Nations League at Maksimir in Zagreb. The game is set to take place on November 15th. Three days later, Croatia will head to England for their return Nations League match at Wembley stadium.
