The 12th round of the Croatian First League (HNL) was played from October 26 to 28, 2018. Dinamo Zagreb still leads the pack.
The 12th round of the Croatian First League came to an end on Sunday evening in Koprivnica. It was a rather uneventful round with no major upsets, and perhaps the most exciting thing to come of it was the Adriatic Derby between Hajduk and Rijeka which was played in front of an empty Poljud stadium.
Last season's Croatian Champions Dinamo Zagreb still lead the table, with Lokomotiva and Osijek not too far behind. Rijeka and Hajduk are currently in the middle of the pack in 5th and 7th place.
Without further ado, here's a look at what happened in the 12th round of the Croatian First League.
Rudeš v. Lokomotiva (0:4)
Rudeš and Lokomotiva kicked off the 12th round on Friday, October 26, 2018, in Zagreb.
While the first half went without goals, Lokomotiva began their scoring spree in the 59th minute with a goal by Ivanušec. Lokomotiva’s Radonjić increased their lead in the 69th, and two goals by Krstanović in the 73rd and 78th minute secured the 0:4 victory for Lokomotiva.

While Inter was the one to take the lead first with a goal by Andrić in the 10th minute, Dvorneković and Atiemwen gave Gorica the lead for 1:2 at the half. A goal by Marina in the 49th minute sealed the 1:3 win for Gorica.

Istra and Osijek met in Pula on October 27, 2018.
Osijek was first to score in the first half with a goal by Kamenar in the 29th minute. Istra was able to equalize in the last minutes of the game with a goal by Mierez in the 86th minute.
It was a rather shocking result as the 3rd-placed Osijek was expected to easily win the game.
Istra is currently in 9th place with 9 points, while Osijek is in 3rd with 24.
Hajduk v. Rijeka (1:1)
Hajduk and Rijeka met in front of an empty Poljud stadium for the Adriatic Derby on October 28, 2018. Recall, Hajduk is serving a penalty from HNS who punished the club to four home games without fans.
A quiet (literally) Adriatic Derby, Hajduk took the lead first from a penalty taken by Said in the 28th minute. In the second half, Rijeka was also awarded a penalty, which Gorgon nailed for 1:1.
Hajduk is currently in 7th place with 12 points, while Rijeka is in 5th with 18.
