The Indiana Pacers lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in Indianapolis (97:106), though Bojan Bogdanović carried his team by scoring 20 points (shots in play 7/14, three-pointers 1/4) in 32 minutes on the court. He also added six rebounds, three assists, and one steal to be the best for the Pacers, reports Gol.hr on February 14, 2019.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 33 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists in his fifth triple-double this season.
Dario Šarić was solid in Minnesota Timberwolves' home victory over the Houston Rockets (121:111). The Croatian basketball star scored 15 points in 24 minutes on the court (shots in play 6/9, three-pointers 2/2), with eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Jeff Teague led the Wolves with 27 points and 12 assists, and Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points. Not even James Harden could help Houston win on Wednesday, who reached his 31st game where he scored more than 30 points. Harden scored 42 points and is now equal to Wilt Chamberlain in second place for the number of games with more than 30 points.
In the clash of Ivica Zubac’s new team the LA Clippers and Dragan Bender’s Phoenix Suns, the Clippers celebrated at home 134:107, forcing the Suns to record their 15th consecutive defeat.
Lou Williams was the top scorer for the Clippers with 30 points, though Zubac played an excellent 22 minutes, securing 16 points (shots in play 4/7) with seven rebounds, one assist and one block.
Dragan Bender played 12 minutes for the Suns but went without a point. The best for Phoenix was Kelly Oubre Jr. with 28 points.
The most exciting game on Wednesday was between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets, which went to a marathon triple-overtime. The Cavaliers ultimately lost 139:148. Ante Žižić played 30 minutes for the Cavs and scored six points (shots in play 2/5), six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
D'Angelo Russell was the best for Brooklyn with 36 points, while Cleveland's top scorer was Jordan Clarkson who finished with 42.
Mario Hezonja will quickly try to forget the 18th consecutive loss for his New York Knicks, who were worse than the Philadelphia 76ers at home in Madison Square Gardens with (111:126)
Hezonja played six minutes during which he missed three shots and secured only one rebound and assist. Joel Embiid was the best for Philadelphia with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
