Heartache for Hajduk, a Tough Draw for Dinamo

By 28 August 2015

A fantastic atmosphere at Poljud, but the result did not reflect the support.

If vocal and loyal support were the key ingredients for success, there is no doubt that Hajduk would be in the Champions League final, but despite a very vocal Torcida, a packed Poljud stadium witnessed Hajduk crash out of Europe on August 27, 2015.

Trailing 1-0 to Slovan Liberec from the Czech Republic, Hajduk lost at home to the same score. Check out the atmosphere inside the stadium in the video below.

Earlier in the week, Dinamo Zagreb had more success in Europe, advancing to the group stage of the Champions League, where they face a daunting task in Group F, which they share with Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Olympiacos. The first match will be hosting Arsenal at Maksimir on September 16, while the first away match nicely coincides with Oktoberfest - away at Bayern Munich on September 29.
